WISE Elements: A Process of Inquiry

WISE projects are designed to support students as they explore current science controversies and design solutions to scientific problems.

The WISE team has worked over the past 5 years to develop the on-line software and curriculum materials that make WISE unique and exciting.

WISE projects take advantage of current web resources, Java Applets for data visualization and modeling, and other features that support students' process of inquiry, including reflection notes and on-line discussions with classmates.
